You are a visitor with disabilities

journey immersive experience.

Booking your visit

  • Upon presentation of a disability card, you are eligible for reduced admission to the Port des Lumières. Holders of a card marked with a “B” or “H” may be accompanied by one person free of charge.
  • Online booking is strongly recommended. We cannot guarantee entry to the Port des Lumières if all our time slots are full. It is not necessary to book a free ticket for accompanying persons who are eligible for free admission.
  • For a more peaceful experience, please note that visitor numbers can be hard to predict and fluctuate depending on the day, week and time. We recommend coming in the morning or at the end of the day, which are often quieter times (though this cannot be guaranteed). Avoid weekends and public holidays, which are generally busier.

How to get to the Port des Lumières

  • By car

The Westfield Überseequartier public car park is located directly in front of our entrance on the corner of Osakaallee and Magedeburger Brücke.

  • By public transportation

We recommend using public transport wherever possible:
    Subway U4, stop “Überseequartier”
    Buses 6, 4 and 2, stop “Singapurstraße”
    Bus 111 stop 'U-Bahn Überseequartier'
Hamburg’s HVV public transport network offers accessible travel options. At many stations, high-contrast tactile guidance strips help blind and visually impaired passengers navigate platforms and transit areas. Audible announcements and door-closing signals provide additional assistance.
